The building is ours. Our community is already thriving inside it. Now we're transforming it into the permanent home our community deserves — for us, and for generations to come.

Our story
We're already here. Help us finish the home.
Since 2017, Chabad of Alameda has built a warm, thriving Jewish community — welcoming every Jew with open arms. In 2024, thanks to the generosity of our founding donors, we acquired our permanent home at 2510 Santa Clara Avenue.
Today, our community already gathers here every week — for Shabbat, holidays, classes, camp, and life's most meaningful moments. Now it's time to build it out: the sanctuary, the kitchen, the library, the children's space — everything that transforms four walls into a true home.
