Chabad of Alameda has launched a transformative capital campaign to establish a permanent center for families, children and adults in the heart of the Bay Area.

The Chabad Jewish Center of Alameda will provide a space for

Until now, Chabad of Alameda operated out of a rented house near Grand Street, which we secured knowing our growth was accelerating rapidly. Now, with demand at an all-time high, this is the ideal moment to purchase a permanent space—and with G-d’s help, we have found a location better than we could have imagined. Situated in the downtown area, this property is not only perfectly suited for our needs but also a strategic investment in the future of Jewish life in Alameda.

We are raising $1.1 million dollars to purchase the property by the end of May, with an additional $600,000 -700,000 budgeted for renovations to bring our vision to life. We have already secured $300K in pledges and gifts, demonstrating the enthusiasm and momentum behind this project.
